Our heavy duty shelving is ideal for warehouses, basements, offices, or workshops. This industrial grade steel shelving is the most versatile and strongest storage solution on the market which is why we use it throughout our warehouse. The center shelf support will add up to 650 pounds to the weight rating of the industrial shelves when evenly loaded. It attaches to the longer (48 inches plus) double rivet shelf supports with bolts and nuts to provide extra support for the particle board shelves. The double rivet shelf supports support the shelf along its perimeter but these support braces support the middle of shelves that have to span longer lengths. Our industrial shelving system provides an economical, yet durable storage solution for larger, bulkier items. The center support beam prevents frame rotation under load. One center support is recommended for shelving units up to 84 inches wide and 2 beams for 96 inch lengths. Supports are attached with four screws and nuts which are included with each support ordered.
