(SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI - July 31, 2006) - For internet shoppers who do not have credit cards or simply prefer to
use their checking account, Organize-It has begun accepting electronic checks on their web site
www.organizeit.com.
'The process is quite simple,' explains Nick Panas, IT Manager for Organize-It. 'The customer enters their account
number and bank routing number from the bottom of their check, and we send that information along with the amount
to our vendor who clears the transaction through the Automated Clearing House' (ACH). Customers can expect to have
the charge hit their account in two to three days - about the same clearing time as a paper check.
'We see this as a convenience to our customers,' says Panas, 'We try to make it as easy as possible for customers to
purchase from us.' Most retail web sites only offer credit cards as payment options. 'We hope this becomes a competitive
advantage for us as well' continues Panas. The time it takes to ship an order will be reduced by approximately two weeks
using e-checks when compared to mailing a paper check.
Organize-It is an independent retailer specializing in storage and organization products since 1997.
It operates a 9500 sq. ft. store containing a custom closet and office furniture showroom in Shelby Twp, MI and a busy
