ORGANIZE-IT THANKS CUSTOMERS WITH REDUCED SHIPPING COSTS
(ROCHESTER HILLS, MI - June 23, 2015) - The storage and organization retailer, Organize-It, has recently lowered their U.S. ground shipping rates by seven percent. The home goods specialty store made this change on their site, organizeit.com, to assure customers that their concerns have been heard. As a part of the ever-changing online marketplace, Organize-It recognizes the importance of cost to its customers.
A majority of American online shoppers have expressed that they prefer low shipping costs over fast shipping speeds, according to a recent survey by Purolator International. According to the research, 55 percent of American online shoppers expressed a willingness to wait for products and admitted to having extended their shipping time to reduce the cost.
With customer?s sentiments in mind, Organize-It was able to negotiate better rates from their shipping carrier, which allowed for the decrease. Organize-It prides itself on being a leader in online shopping and continues to strive to provide their customers with what they want.
?We want to keep shipping costs as low as possible,? said Organize-It General Manager Chris Nylen.
?We hope to help customers understand that there is no such thing as free shipping ?? massive package carriers did not get to be that way by giving away their services. Extremely low shipping costs typically mean that the carrier cost has been lumped in with the product price ? which means they?re paying just as much for the product,? said Nylen.
?Lower shipping costs is an issue we have received a lot of customer feedback about and we expect the lower rates to be very well received,? said Nylen.
An independent retailer established in 1997, Organize-It works with a growing number of vendors to provide the best in storage, organizing and home products, including: closet organizers, kitchen gadgets, laundry organizers, garage cabinets and office wares. Through their ecommerce websites, Organize-It offers approximately 20,000 unique products. The retailer has a storefront in Shelby Township, Mich., where they offer custom closet design and installation services.
