Placing an Order
Please use our secure site to place your order online. You can also call during our business hours to place an order over the phone. Please call us at (248)656-3350.
Cancelling an Order
We can only accept cancel order requests within a matter of hours of placing your order. We have a high volume warehouse with many automated processes so that we can get orders out to customers quickly. Many in stock orders ship the same day. Once an order is packed it can not be cancelled. You may however return the item once you receive it.
Because we incur fees for all cancelled orders, if we are able to cancel an order, we charge a $6.00 fee for orders placed in error where another item is not substituted.
Non-Receipt of Order
In the event that you do not receive your order you must contact us within 14 days of the ship date so we can do an investigation. We may, based on our investigation re-ship the order to you. If you fail to contact us within the 14 days we will not reship your order and no return will be processed.
Back Orders
We try very hard to eliminate back orders entirely however it is simply impossible to do. We place a high value on filling orders completely as soon as we can. That is why once we receive back ordered items, they are the first priority of our shipping department. Typically back ordered items will ship within a week or two from when you placed your order. You may still order most items even if it is back ordered by the manufacturer or currently out of stock.
We process credit cards online in real-time. This includes charges for back ordered items. Which means your card will be charged for the full amount of the order even if back ordered items exist. Please contact our customer service department at 248-656-3350 if you would like the charges for the back ordered item(s) refunded. We will refund the amount of the back order until the item(s) come in and are shipped.
When ordering multiple items or a number of the same item it is possible that one or more of the items will be back ordered. Our on-line stock status is calculated based on "current inventory" and historical sales of the item so it is possible for one person or multiple people to order more of an item than we currently have on hand. Organize-It decides, at our discretion, whether we will make a partial shipment or back order the entire order.
Damaged Shipments
In the event that you receive a damaged product, or the wrong product, DO NOT RETURN THE PRODUCT, contact our Customer Service Department within 14 days at (248)656-3350. We will send you a replacement item or parts at no cost to you. For damaged items we will require digital pictures of the damage sent to info@organizeit.com. Keep the damaged item until you receive the replacement. If you decide that you do not want the damaged item, it will be considered a return, and all of our return policies will apply. The item(s) must be returned to our warehouse, and shipping costs will not be refunded.
Drop Ship
Drop ship means that your order, or part of your order, will be sent directly to you by the manufacturer. This is done to save shipping costs, and to help keep our prices low. You will be notified via email for any items being drop shipped to you. Drop shipped items usually add a week to the total shipping time and can not be cancelled once they are ordered. Some, non-special order drop ships can be returned by following our Return Policy, however, we may elect to have you ship the item back to the manufacturer.
