The thermometer has a temperature range from negative 20 to positive 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The numbers for the thermometer run along the top and side edges of the unit.

A snowflake under the negative 20 degree mark and a sun under the positive 100 degree mark represent the winter and summer solstice, the shortest and longest day of the year. The clock portion is located in a circle in the lower portion of the unit. Constructed from recycled aluminum that is rust resistant. Two weather-resistant finishes are available, French Bronze and Antique Copper.
