These magnetic bookends from Organize-It are fantastic! Heavy-duty suction indeed keeps books and notebooks from sliding on a metal file shelf. Purchase two sets several months ago and am getting two more because they actually work!

My office is extremely pleased with this durable product. We use it to keep our heavy legal size expanding files upright in our 40-inch file cabinets. It works perfectly! The handle makes it easy to reposition in the cabinets and the magnet prevents the heavy files from sliding around. It is the ideal size for any cabinet and we even use it as a regular bookend on our shelves for our heavy legal books. Good quality. Excellent product overall!

My agency ordered these for our file cabinets. As for the usage they get the job done. The one thing I would recommend is sturdier glue because we received some where the adhesive was already not sticking and once we placed them in the file cabinets when we tried to move them the magnetic stayed in place while the divider moved.
