You can easily connect the USB hub to the laptop with the 3.0 compatible 2.0 cable (included), and the AC adapter plugs into the wall in order to power the connected USB hub. Thanks to the four built-in USB ports, you can easily power all of your devices in one convenient location.

When connected to a computer's standard USB hub: Max input: 5 volt 800-900mA; Max output is 5 volt (no more than 800mA).
