This bunk bed is designed to accommodate two twin sized mattresses (not included), and the support slats are already built into the bunks so you don't have to worry about box springs. Please note: the mattress thickness for the top bunk should not exceed 9 inches to conform to safety regulations.

The integrated ladder makes it easy and safe to climb to the top bunk, and it can be placed on either side of the bed to conform to the room. Full-length guardrails around the edge of the top bunk ensures children cannot accidentally fall out of bed while sleeping. For added convenience, the bunk bed can separate into two single beds if desired. Each bunk supports up to 300 pounds for a heavy-duty design. Some assembly required.
