A groove is featured around the exterior of the cutting board in order to collect any juices while you're chopping up meat and vegetables. Four stainless steel legs on the bottom keeps the chopping board raised above the countertop surface. Rubber pads are attached to the bottom of the feet in order to protect the resting surface from coming to any harm. Wash by hand.
