My step son got a new pair of skis, boots, and poles for Christmas. I noticed the potential for destruction when he stored them in the back of our garage leaning up against the wall. This bracket is a simple and elegant solution to hanging one pair of skis and poles up and out of the way. The grid mount is not required. Find a stud, pick a height, use some good long screws, and you have a nice hanger to keep the skis protected... not to mention far away from my motorcycles.
