The freedomRail Closet Rod Corner Rounder is specifically designed for use in freedomRail closet systems by joining two corresponding Custom Size Nickel Hanging Closet Rods as they would meet in a corner. The corner rounder has tapered ends that fit inside the straight rods to provide a smooth transition that spans adjoining walls and providing a neat, clean look for your hanging clothes. Ends of straight rods should be covered using freedomRail Closet Rod Stops

The Closet Rod Corner Rounders may be adapted to non-freedomRail closet systems using some careful calculations. First, measure 23 inches from each corner to allow for the corner rod. Then calculate the lengths of your straight rods accordingly. Remember as you measure that the closet rod typically sits about 11 inches from the back wall. Please order your straight rod a few inches long and be prepared to cut excess with a hack saw or pipe cutter. You can not return cut rod.

Straight closet rods should be supported every 36 inches. Corner rounders need at least two supports. You can use our Closet Rod and Shelf Support Bracket or our 1 Inch Round Closet Rod Center Support Bracket, but choose one or the other as these items have different measurements between the shelf and the rod. Also note that these two items are only available in chrome. Install the supports near the rod joints. Ends of the straight rod can be supported by One Inch Closet Rod Flanges - Nickel (Set of 2).
