No problem on installation

I found that the lower glide could be installed separately from the basket to avoid this fastening problem in cases of confined space. It is not mandatory that you drive the screws for the lower glide through the upper one with the basket in place. I set the basket and glides in place, squared them to the cabinet and checked opening clearances, etc., then marked the position of the bottom glides. Then I separated them from the basket, screwed them down, then slid the basket in. You just have to lift the basket slide over the "stop tab" that keeps it from sliding all the way out. There is enough slop in the glides that they don’t have to be perfectly aligned, but if they bind, just loosen the screws holding the basket on the upper glides slightly to realign them and relieve the binding, then retighten. The basket can be slid in and out carefully and gently to do this last task if necessary, without upsetting the alignment.

Good quality, difficult installation

These glides are a nice way to add wire drawer storage in your cabinets... that is, if you can figure out a way to get them installed. They are heavy duty and nice quality hardware and attaching these to the wire baskets was fairly easy. But the instructions for installation take it for granted that you’ll have a significant amount of room above the basket where you are installing it because you have to have everything in place (the entire basket/glide assembly) before you screw it down to the shelf. I was putting basket storage in a couple bathroom vanities and had 8 spaces about 7 1/2" high, with a 3" tall basket plus 1/2" for the glide. That only left me 4" of clearance to get my arms plus a drill driver or screwdriver into the area to work, and then feed a screw thru a hole thru the upper part of the glide into another hole into the lower section without it falling off the point of the driver-- which was, of course, impossible. It was trial and error figuring out an alternate way attaching the assembly, but after I came up with a way for my particular installation it went in OK. It was tedious work but I was able to get the job done and now my bath cabinets have much more useable storage in them.
