Rack Sack Kitchen Trash Can System

This is the third time I have used Rack Sack when moving to a new location each time. It is just so handy to have it available right there by the sink and no trash containers around the kitchen or bathrooms. Would recommend it for anyone to try and understand the convenience of having them. 

Love the Rack Sack Trash Can System. Hidden away, but I wish I had known how long the screws were to install because my cabinet door was thinner than the screw so I had to place a buffer between the trash can and the cabinet door. Oh well. 

Love this, this one is more sturdy than my last Rack Sack, make sure you measure before you istall, works great for small houses. 

I love this thash can! Its tucked away and hidden. The bags store in the lid area which keeps odors in the trash can.

this is better than the one I had for the last 20 years, my contractor threw it out and I ordered this one...too bad it is too big for the new cabinets. How do I send it back?

Great product, I had an older version this replacement is better and holds more. Very simple to install. 

My Mom used a Rack Sack for years and she raved about it. Now I know why. I can recycle my plastic grocery bags while having the garbage close and covered yet out of sight. There never gets to be so much garbage it smells and the bags are easily changed. I guess I’ve turned in to my mother! Thanks from both of us for a great product. 

Stores don’t seems to sell these anymore, so it was wonderful to find it online. It’s a quality-made product and what a pleasure to have the trash out of the room and neatly in the under-sink cabinet. If your door panel is too thin for the screws, like mine was, here’s an easy fix: Cut to size and horizontally screw two long paint stirrers to the thicker frame of your door, one for the top section and one for the bottom section. You can then screw the frame onto the stirrers. It’s a neat and easy fix and only requires the purchase of a few screws, the stirrers are free ENJOY! 

My mother has in inside kitchen cabinet trash holder, and I was looking for same. This Rack Sack is very simple to install, has great flexibility in choosing which size you need it to be, and was the perfect solution. 

Better than one we had previously. Very convenient for kitchens not laid out well. Super easy to use. 

The New Rack Sack Trash system is easy to install, sturdy, and a great way to reuse all of those plastic grocery bags! We have used similar products over the years but this is the best one so far. I especially like how easy it is to secure the bags in the rack, and the support under the bag. 

I love this product! I have owned cabinet door mount trash cans before but the bags would always fall off. Not this one, it is great. I use it in the kitchen even though I have a trash compactor. There are things you don’t want in a compactor that need to be taken out daily and this works well for that! You can adjust the rack to use regular grocery bags or use the larger purchased bags. The only negatives I can find is that the door on top of the trash will not stay open when dumping scraps in it, and a drip proof bottom would be nice. But even with that; I plan to replace all my under the cabinet trash cans with this unit. 

The product was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to install and works great. 

Very easy to install. The bags are strong, overall great design. We’ve been using it for a month now with NO complaints! A great buy. 

I’ve had a version of this for well over 5 years - and when I moved, the older one ended up in storage somewhere - goodness knows when I will find it, and when I do, it will go on the door to the other side of my kitchen sink for recyclables. These units are the absolute best, the kitchen looks and smells so much better (well, maybe the smell is my imagination ). I highly recommend this. 

It is an excellent product and gets the garbage off your floor and out of sight. It also keeps odors way down. My husband has a habit of putting things that should go outside in the inside garbage. This really helps this problem. It is easy to replace bags and an all around great product. 

Easy to mount and fits under the sink with no problems. I like the fact that it fits 2 sizes of bags. Great product. 

Good, quick service. Excelelnt product, easy to install. I love that my trash can is now out of site and easily reachable inside the cabinet door. I also love that the Rack Sack Trash System allows me to recycle my regualar plastic grocery bags. Whoo Hoo! 

We’ve always liked our old rack sack and recently replaced it with this one. It’s even better and more convenient. Having individual bags makes it easier to remove a full bag and storing them right in the lid is great. We also like the handles to the bags and using them to secure the bag to the rack. No more full bags slipping off like in the old system. Definitely a winner! 

Hubby and I bought this 10 years ago when it was just us and a couple cats. Now, 10 years and 3 kids later, we still use this in our kitchen as our main garbage. It is very easy to use with any plastic store grocery sacks. We have taken it with us to 4 different houses. It’s easy to remove and install and cleaning is a cinch. I think it’s a great way to recycle and reuse all those plastic grocery sacks! I would definitely recommend this product! 

This bin fits under my kitchen sink without using all the space as a pull out bin on track. It even works with regular shopping bags. Best garbage bin purchase. 

I have used something similar to this since the mid-80’s. A friend loved mine and I found the one on your site because my local hardware no longer stocked it. Yours is so much nicer I’m ordering a new one for myself. This is so nice - you have no trash can sitting in your kitchen. 

Was really looking forward to getting this as my mom has and loves hers, but it was left on the porch and then stolen. So I can only rate it on anticipation.... 

Our new trash can replaced the previous Rack & Sack trash can that we had used for many years. The old lid hinge rusted through and then broke. The new can lid appears more rugged and provides easier access to replacement trash bags. We look forward to many years of use with the new can 

LOVE THE IDEA BUT STORING THE BAGS IN THE LID PREVENTS THE LID FROM STAYING OPEN. jUST MANAGES TO SLAAM SHUT JUST AS YOU’RE SCRAPING THE FOOD FROM THE PLATES. 

... to collect possible spills if the plastic bag gets ripped, which is pretty possible.  

Like the poroduct; great to get the garbage can in a very small space under my sink. However, it is a little wide so I have to open/close both doors when accessing it. Also the bottom of the lid gets dirty - would have been nice for it to be concave- it sits down into the garbage. Also wish the bottom support was adjustable; under my sink it hits a water pipe so am devising something to hold it up a bit so the cabinet door will close all the way. 

I first bought the rack sack in Canada about 6 years ago. I eventually had to replace it as the welds had rusted through. this newer model is not as good as the old style. The bottom support that hangs from the end used to be welded on in place. Now it rotates and has a tendancy to fall off. Having a bigger lid to accomodate a few bags is a waste of time. The space is not big enough to fit all the bags that come in an order. A bag does not last very long in a kitchen trash situation and where would you put the other bags that you buy in the roll? it would have been better to keep the lid small and thin, as the last model was. The lid does not lift as easily and opening the top to extract a bag is awkward. The whole idea is to have a system that is compact enough to go into a cupboard! The whole system is longer then the old model so it requires redrilling the mounting holes! On the whole it is a great product that has been redeveloped to a level of near useless frustration! 

Poor design, comes apart easily, lid doesn’t close all the time. Fed X was awful on delivery should have sent the product back. 

Loved the original- HATE the improvements, the bags in the lid are a big problem - lid does not stay up and you loose a lot of space for actual trash - plus bottom of lid gets disgusting fast. I wound up cutting the bag container out of the lid- why on earth do I need to buy NEW, paper thin and very weak "Rack-Sack" when we are DROWNING in plastic grocery bags? Rack-Sack FAIL. Instead of improving the product and helping us use plastic groceries bags- they’ve gone for the greed factor by adding more (& very poor quality) crap for you to buy and made the product that much less functional.
