Have used a bulky, spring scale for about 10 yrs but upgraded to this based on a product comparison & recommendation by AMERICA’S TEST KITCHEN. Many good features make this one a keeper - 1/8oz accuracy, compact size, large, upward facing readout, pull-out viewer, ability to zero out weight so can add next ingredient. Looks good too. However, have only used it about 2 doz times so only time will tell; also, it takes a battery. Very, very happy with this scale. Will help with calculating package mailing/shipping charges. Great buy!
