Great lap desk. i use mine to prop (paper)books. it's light, convenient, keeps the book from sliding, and the price is right. I don't even have a laptop computer!

I ordered one as a gift for my husband to use at home in the evenings -- he enjoys it and finds it great for his Mac. Then I got so tired of borrowing his whenever I could, I ordered one for myself .... it is a perfect size for my Mac, is comfortable and how great not to have my legs on fire :) when I am using the computer. I don’t use the tabs as I don’t feel the need, and I find the light weight and size of the "desk" to be perfect!!

I have a huge heavy laptop that I usually use while sitting on the sofa. This lapdesk works great to keep the fan intakes clear and keep my legs from getting a huge laptop imprint on them. I don’t use the tabs but can easily adjust the screen to be able to see.

The Lap Desk does just what is says in the ad...it is a good way of keeping laptop heat off your lap. The ventilated tray also seems to keep the laptop cooler. I use it with a 14" Gateway which pretty much covers the Lap Desk, so I’m not sure how useful it would be for a larger laptop. The only problem I have with this product is that the micro bead bottom shifts into clumps and is hard to make comfortable. Other than that, this product works as promised.

Not what I was expecting (not big enough)although I will keep it since I can see it might be useful. If it really helps keep the laptop cooler, then it will be worth it.
