Jumbo Lap Desk

This little lapdesk fills the bill for me - wanting to use my laptop while "watching" tv. It is comfy on my lap and provides the handy little features like the handle opening, clip and pen trays. All I could ask for would be more colors! It was quickly shipped with great tracking info too. Everything I hope for in ordering from a company online! Thanks Organize-It!  

I have recently purchased two for my granddaugher. One to study on at my house and one for her house. She LOVES them!! 

Although I’m 80+ and live alone, I spend hours almost every day working for a volunteer group doing lots of paperwork for them. And it’s great for my sewing projects, too. But I don’t want to miss watching my football & baseball games on TV, so my lap desk is the perfect solution. It is also my dining table so I’m never eating "alone". 

I ordered 4 jumbo lapdesks for my middle school, high school, and college kids and 1 for myself. I am going back to college along with my 2 oldest kids and we needed study stations around the house since we’ll be doing lots of homework. The kids love that they can sit outside or on the sofa or the recliner to study and the lapdesk is sturdy, yet lightweight, and plenty big enough to amply hold their books, papers, and even their laptop computers comfortably. The handle is nice for carrying it around. The pencil trays are great, too, and keeps the pencils from rolling off! We’re glad we bought these lapdesks and would recommend them to anyone who wants to be able to write, read, or study anywhere they want to comfortably. 

My elderly mother, who still writes to many friends, found it difficult to move back and forth to her regular desk so asked me to find a lap desk she could use while sitting in her recliner. I chose this one because it was extra large, light weight, and the best price I had found online. We are both really happy with this lap desk and it meets her needs. Also, the clip was an added bonus and holds her writing tablet in place when she sets it down next to her chair!  

 

I am using my lap desk to take notes while at meetings. Makes it easy to hold a book and papers without falling off my lap. I love it!  

We are very pleased with this Lap Desk. We purchased these for our children for Christmas and they arrived well before the stated arrival date. I think my wife and I are going to order a few more for us as well. I’m also very pleased with the how friendly the lady was on the telephone when ordering. This is a gift for my hard working daughter. She often brings work home and sits on the couch (working) with the children while they watch a little TV. I hope it makes it easier for her to juggle her responsibilities. 

For several years now at work I have held my wireless keyboard in my lap while typing. I’ve recently started using this lap desk product to hold the keyboard and I am very pleased with the comfort and stability it provides. I also use a lap desk at home for my notebook computer. Highly recommend this product. The price is very reasonable. Also, I had a problem with my delivery address and the customer service people for this company were very thorough in following up to resolve the issue before it became a problem for me. They were very courteous and patient over the telephone. 

I was searching for college graduation gift for my niece, who was planning on becoming a teacher. I saw the jumbo lap desk and thought it would be helpful in grading papers at home; doing reports and report cards. My niece loved it! Not only does she use it for school work, she writes thank you notes and letters...even pays her bills using her lap desk. So, of course I had to buy one for myself! 

Greatr! Now I can sit in my easy chair and catch up on correspondence or pay the bills. Since I am frequently confined to my bed, this is a major help. 

Bought for my 9-year old, who can destroy practically anything. After 2 months of daily use, this lap desk is still in almost new condition. Very sturdy construction. He has managed to pop loose one of the buttons on the backside, but the loose button doesn’t effect the lap desk’s use. 

I gave this to my husband for X-mas and I use it more than him! I am going to order another one for myself. 

I gave it to my husband and he uses it every day! I can’t imagine him without it now! He finds it very comfortable but not bulky or heavy. He’s very pleased and so am I! 

I got two of these for my boys to use for homework, they love em. they are used for dinner, play, and homework, I am very happy with the lapdesk. 

The surface area is great! However, the padding on the bottom could be a little fuller. But I’m very happy with it. 

I purchased this lap desk with the intent to use with my laptop and wireless mouse. It’s a great lap desk, and, for the most part, it has worked out fantastically. However, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for laptop use. While the desk provides a good surface to write on and supports the weight of the laptop well when I’m carrying it from room to room, the plastic surface is not substantial enough to support the weight of a laptop or use of the mouse when I only have one leg or another thin item supporting the lap desk from below. The pillow below the lap desk is great and adjusts well when I try to shift the beads inside. For the great price, I can live with my concerns -- I just couldn’t give it 5 stars. 

I purchased this to replace one that I had filled with foam beads that had lost their shape and therefore the pillow was shrinking and not as effective. Unfortunately, when I received this new one I discovered that the pillow portion was even smaller than the one I was replacing! There is just not enough pillow volume to be able to nestle it on your lap.  

I do not care for the micro-bead pillow. It does not extend across the entire bottom on the desk as it appears in the picture. Hate it!!!!
