Buyer - Responsible for all aspects of buying and merchandising including, reorders, drop ship orders, vendor relations, and to a lesser extent, new product selection. This position will report directly to the General Manager and will have the opportunity to work directly with vendors, reps and wholesalers.
The candidate must be organized, dependable, hardworking, self motivated and able to multi-task. We are seeking an individual with a college degree, excellent communications skills, computer literate and at least a general knowledge of the retail buying process. Direct industry experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Organize-It is a twenty year old company specializing in storage and organization products for the home and office, however we carry almost anything for the home. The company currently has almost 25,000 SKUs and is looking for a Buyer to keep our stock at acceptable levels and maintain our drop ship orders. We operate a 9500 sq. ft. warehouse in Rochester Hills servicing and two e-commerce web sites and multiple marketplaces. Our primary site is www.organizes-it.com.

Closet Salesperson - Responsible for both inside and outside closet, garage, office and storage shelving sales. The chosen individual will go through a training period where they will primarily be performing inside sales while learning design basics and our design programs. Through the use of various computer aided design tools this individual will provide customers with a workable storage solution for their home or office and manage the installation process if needed. Some night and weekend work may be required as you can only close a sale when the customer is available.
Our ideal candidate must be organized, hardworking, computer literate, self-motivated and able to multi-task. This is a perfect position for a people person who enjoys design or has an interior design background. We are seeking an individual with at least some college, outstanding people skills and a desire to close sales. Previous closet sales experience would be helpful but we are willing to train the right candidate who is willing to learn and make this a career. Position will start as hourly but will migrate to a base salary plus commission after training. Therefore sales tracking will be a key component of the position.

The company is looking for help in with our sales to continue to grow and solidify our position as the leader in closet, garage, office and shelving in Southeast Michigan. We work out of a warehouse in Rochester Hills, Michigan. This position will work out of the warehouse but will be a lot of working on your own.
