These doormats are incredible. They are made of polypropylene rope...perhaps the other reviewer doesn't know what that is. It doesn't retain water, or get all buggy and moldy.....it's so worth the price. I'm replacing one I bought 7 years ago. This doormat keeps the inside of my home spotless and it looks gorgeous. It's handmade in the USA. I have a mat at every door!

This mat is very shiny and plastic-like. It is ugly and so far (Ive had it only a few weeks) it will not lay flat. BEWARE! This item is not returnable!
